Hi, I am Julie. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and hold Master’s Degrees in counseling from Bradley University and Westminster Theological Seminary. Since 2005, I have had the opportunity to counsel in a group practice, a not-for-profit ministry with an addiction recovery program, and in the church. You find me now in private practice. I look forward to meeting you!
My faith in Jesus Christ guides how I think and how I help. By no means do you need to agree with my faith but it behooves you to know that my approach is gospel infused while also being clinically informed. I believe that view of God impacts how one views self; and conversely, view of self impacts one’s view of God. The harmony or dissonance between such knowledge influences the rhythm of your life.
I am married, have three children, and am a member of a local church. I love learning new things and enjoy solving puzzles (both jigsaw and logic). My heart is enraptured by Bible study, sounds of the ocean, and conversation around bonfires.
